Closed beta
Terms of service.
Updated 8 October 2026
Please read these terms before you create an account. They are short on purpose.
Who these terms are for
These terms apply to your use of the Kaldmarch website and game, including the closed beta (together, “Kaldmarch”). By creating an account or playing, you agree to them and to the game rules. If you do not agree, do not create an account.
The closed beta
Kaldmarch is in closed beta. Access is by invitation, features can change or be removed, and worlds and accounts can be reset or wiped while we test. Nothing you earn in the beta is guaranteed to carry over. The beta is free and provided as it is.
Your account
You must be at least 16 years old, or have a parent’s or guardian’s consent where the law requires it. Give a correct email address. You are responsible for your password and for everything done with your account, so tell us if you think someone else has access. One person plays one account in a world unless the game rules say otherwise.
How you may play
Play fairly and follow the game rules. Do not break, probe or overload the service, do not use bots or scripts that act for you, do not try to reach other players’ accounts or data, and do not use the game to harass anyone or to share unlawful content.
Names and content
Player names, tribe names, messages and forum posts are yours, but you let us show them in the game, in its rankings and on its public pages. They must not be hateful, unlawful or pretend to be someone else. We can rename or remove content, and accounts that break this rule.
Virtual items and premium points
Resources, villages, items and points in Kaldmarch are part of a game: they have no cash value, are not property, and cannot be sold or exchanged for money outside the game. If premium points are ever offered for sale, the price, the purchase terms and the refund rules will be shown before you buy.
When we act
We can warn, mute, suspend or end accounts that break these terms or the game rules, and we can pause or end a world. Where we can, we tell you why and how to appeal; the game rules explain it.
Availability
We aim to keep Kaldmarch running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. Maintenance and outages happen.
Liability
As far as the law allows, Kaldmarch is provided as it is, and we are not liable for lost game progress, items or points, or for indirect losses. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited, or liability that the law does not let us exclude.
Your data
How we handle your data is described in the privacy notice.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters to you, we will say so on the site or by email, and by playing after it you accept it.
