KaldmarchOne realm. Every deed remembered.
One realm begins October 1, 2026
Kaldmarch is a persistent strategy game where each holding belongs to a real ruler. You begin with one holding, choose where its labour goes, and meet neighbours who are already deciding whether to trust your banner.

Different histories
Your fields feed the masons, your workshops consume timber and iron, and your letters cross roads watched by other rulers. Advantage is built through judgement, cooperation, and time.
Raise stores, strengthen the wall, or prepare soldiers. You cannot do everything at once.
A nearby banner may belong to an ally, a rival, a debtor, or the ruler preparing your next siege.
Rank, heraldry, titles, and illustrated honours show what your house built and survived.

I The living holding
Buildings stand where you raise them. Roads expose new work, walls buy time, and workshops determine what can be produced next.
II The contested world
Scout river crossings and forest routes, then decide which neighbour should become an ally before distance becomes a weapon.
III The public standing
Rank is public. So are the portrait, title, heraldry, and honours that show how you earned it.
IV The lord’s chronicle
Choose a portrait, title, heraldry, motto, and illustrated honours. They form the public record other rulers see when they meet your house.

Rankings change. Your seal, diplomatic record, and earned honours remain together in the Lord’s Chronicle, where rivals and allies can read them.

I The first seal
Choose a name and heraldry, then raise the holding that will carry them. Neighbours will learn both from what you build and how you behave.
Identity · Heraldry · The founding holdingII The war table
Read the rivers, weigh the marching hours, and decide whose letter deserves trust. Diplomacy can prevent a siege—or make one possible.
Scouting · Diplomacy · Timed commandIII The hall of memory
Titles and illustrated honours gather beneath your heraldry, preserving the campaigns and achievements behind your standing.
Honours · Renown · A public legacyFour answers to one threat
Each company solves a different problem and leaves another weakness behind. The choice depends on terrain, timing, and what you can afford to expose.

Spearmen · Swordsmen
Buy time. Surrender the road.
Axemen · Longbowmen
Strike unseen. Yield open ground.
Scouts · Knights
Arrive first. Spend horses and grain.
Rams · Catapults
Open the gate. Move slowly enough to be found.
I The holding
Guide a muddy thorp toward a fortified market town. Roofs shelter workers, fields feed levies, and walls buy time when hostile banners appear.

II The oath
Build a tribe through promises, favours, and shared enemies. A well-timed letter can save a wall that soldiers would reach too late.

III The march
Read the roads. Count the granaries. Hide the true host behind a feint, then arrive while enemy support is still beyond the river. Time is terrain.

A house others can recognise
Choose the portrait, title, motto, and heraldry shown beside your deeds. Display three honours that tell visiting rulers what your house has achieved.
“By hearth and oath, we endure.”
